Welcome

Counselling Professional

Hi, my name is Jackie. I just want to tell you a little about myself and how I can support you, to enable you to decide if I am the right counsellor for you.

I am a fully qualified, integrative person centred counsellor and a member of BACP.

I was motivated to become a counsellor after having been through a lot of personal traumatic experiences.  I was able to overcome the impacts of theses experiences with the help of counselling.  I found that talking to someone who really listened, understood and genuinely cared, helped me to work through my issues and make positive changes in my life.  I found a better place to be, in my head, my heart and my life,   and I wanted to be able to do the same for others.

All my experience personally and professionally, have brought me invaluable insight and awareness, enabling me to deeply empathise with others and you.  Enabling me to better support you when embarking on your journey of healing, self love, awareness, motivation, self discovery, self belief, self worth, empowerment and assertiveness.

I specialise in counselling survivors of domestic violence and coercive control, sexual abuse, rape, child hood trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief, substance misuse, self harm, anger issues, low self esteem, low confidence and suicidal thoughts.

I can support you in finding your inner peace and help you to explore your issues, with a view to making positive changes to improve your quality of life.

I find it a great privilege to be able to work with people in finding healing and solutions to their issues, and I can't think of any thing better than being in a position where I am witness to the progress and success that my clients achieve.

I look forward to helping you. Get in touch to learn more.

Quote

"Sometimes you can find yourself in the middle of nowhere but sometimes nowhere is where you can find yourself"

Asking for help takes a lot of courage and it can be really difficult to reach out for help, especially if you feel sad, stressed or confused. Getting the support you need during tough times can help you get through your situation, give you strategies to be able to cope better with future situations, and give you some perspective.

You deserve to feel better.

You are important.
